Welcome readers, writers, paranormal junkies, and curious passersby…
I invite you to join me in a journey that will no doubt be fraught with tears and triumphs, heartache and happiness, frustration and fulfillment, namely, my journey to publication.
Although I have a vast support network of family and friends, writing can be an intensely personal experience that is difficult for non-writing folks to understand. No matter how much you try to explain the thrill of a well-crafted sentence or the agony of writer’s block, no one can relate the way another writer can. With that in mind, I decided to create a web site that would not only give me the opportunity to share my progress toward publishing my novels, but that also would provide a resource for other writers to chat, offer advice and support, and share their successes.
My hope is that maurabishop.com will continue to grow and evolve, so please check back often and feel free to offer suggestions for resources on writing, editing, publishing, paranormal romance, or the romance genre in general.
